So Good it Makes me Cry

It has a few tiny errors if judged by Linear Time Invariant Signals & Systems school of thought. But they are totally forgivable. It ain't no overstatement; this really is a masterpiece.

Concur that this is a masterpiece

I concur with David Darva's reflection that this book is a "masterpiece," because I have found myself personally enthused about it. It is very concisely written and it actually covers the entire field of electrical engineering, getting the reader grounded for further study. It is a "hard book," only because there is so much in it. The examples force you deeply enough into the material to get a working understanding of what is going on, and the commentary gives you a feel for where things came from, how they fit in, etc. (I have the 4th Ed.)

The life work of RJ Smith is a masterpiece.

One of the best books. It is clear, easy to understand, and treats subjects in depth. They changed numbers in the problems in the 5th edition but did not change "answers to selected problems". For example problem P4-7 should be R2 = 5 ohms(not 6) and L = 5 H (not 8). I got the correct numbers from the 4th edition. P4-13, P4-15, P4-24 have similar errors in chapter 4 for example.
