Now Starhawk, Diane Baker, and Anne Hill offer new ways to foster a sense of togetherness through celebrations that honor the sacredness of life and our Mother Earth. Everything I hoped it would be and more!!!

The book is written so incredibly well. Its inclusive, it's open, it propels you to explore your own path while giving you a great guideline of what each writer does. I love the diversity of their lives and truly think anyone can relate to them! I've been reading and researching for over a year and waiting on the waitlist for this book SO glad I finally pulled the trigger with this copy. It's a hardback book and is honestly a one stop shop I've read a LOT on this topic and truly this book has been 100% what I've been after!!! Def recommend!!!

Wonderful for Pagan Families

My husband and I are Pagan. My child's Goddess Mother gave this to us at our baby shower two years ago. I've used this for every Sabbat and love it. Now that our daughter is 2 1/2, I look forward to the crafts. I just purchased the C.D. that goes with this book and my daughter LOVES it. This belongs in every Pagans' Library. It is a must have. From stories of folk lore, to songs to sing with the kids, simple crafts and explanation of Sabbats that children can understand this book is well thought and well written. Blessed Be!!

Couldn't be any better than this!

This is as good as it gets, when dealing with Pagans who have childeren or starting to have them. This book deals with love and relationship not only with the Goddess, but, with "family" as a whole. Its very well detailed and the stories , songs, and crafts are really fun to do. If you are Pagan, have childeren..make this your "starter" book first. Highly recommend..well worth the time and the money.

essential resource

This book is hands down, the best resource for raising Pagan children! Much of the text is meant to be read to a child and really gets on her/his level in explaining ideas and concepts in Nature Spirituality. Included are recipes, craft ideas, and stories for eight Pagan holidays. There is also a lot of helpful information in this book for dealing with criticism and discrimination.

One of the Best Pagan Family books I have ever read

I was very impressed with the collection of stories, songs, chants, activites, crafts, and recipies that the authors compiled here in this book. If you are Pagan and have children, this is a must. It is also useful for coven activities as well. I plan on adapting some of the stories for skits in my coven's rituals. Thanks and hats off to the authors! Rev. A MUST for every pagan parent!

Starhawk, et al., have assembled a wonderful source book for pagan parents of all traditions. As a priestess who was having some trouble finding a starting point to begin educating my two young children in our faith, I found the book jam-packed with ideas: fun craft projects, kitchen magic, stories to read to younger kids.... I can't say enough about this book & have recommended it to several friends. Blessed Be!
