Laugh and Cry!

What can you say about a book that also happens to be The best Italian movie, and arguably, the best foreign movie ever made? The relationship between Alfredo, the old movie projectionist and the young boy reminds me of the relationship between Amatore Mille and his grandfather in the wonderful new memoir, ELEVEN DAYS IN AUGUST, which also celebrates the hearts and nurturing nature of the old Italians.
