A beautiful book and wonderful story

I have bought several copies of this book through the years as gifts for family children and friends. I regret that now I must search through USED books to try to find a decent one to give to my young great-granddaughter. It is so gently told and so beautifully illustrated and is a keeper in the heart of all who read it. We love her Tomten books, too.

What more can be said? The story tells the nativity story in a sweet, gentle, non-preaching way. It shares the warmth and love of a child, hearing the story for the first time. A must have for any family with children and should be considered a classic.
