Interesting

For the most part this is an interesting book about Jesus Christ and related subjects. In a way this book is like a condensed history of Christianity plus some other things. A lot of the material is taken directly from the bible and then explained by relating it to the Edgar Cayce material and in some cases to other not so reliable sources. Cayce said that the Egyptian god Thoth (Hermes) was a reincarnation of "The Word". Supposedly Thoth was directly involved with the construction of the mysterious Great Pyramid. This is interesting because Cayce said that Christ had spent time inside the sarcophagus in the pyramid and it was Christ Himself who broke this sarcophagus which symbolizes his victory over death. It is true that when people first entered the pyramid in more modern times they found the sarcophagus broken. A fascinating subject is the uncanny similarities between the lives of Elijah and Jezebel in the old testament and John The Baptist and Herod's wife Herodius in the gospels. Theirs is a hatred that spanned across lifetimes. This is one of the most interesting scripture-related ideas to ever come out of the Edgar Cayce psychic material. It's related to Elijah ordering the murder of the priests of Baal without God's approval which created bad karma for him. Thus the baptizer also died by the sword at the hands of the decapitator Jezebel / Herodius. Like Elijah perhaps the baptizer was too zealous at times about his beliefs. He said things to Herod that were probably better off left unsaid. Elijah had said something similar to Jezebel's husband about her being a non Jew or something like that. Here we see that even the great prophet Elijah was not immune to the law of karma. The appendix contains a section called 'About Islam' and another section that is some type of mythical story about Christ who is referred to as 'Issa'. This myth is similar to the gospels but varies on many key points. I don't personally believe it. An interesting point is Osama Bin Ladin claims to be the reincarnation of the Islamic hero Saladin. I wouldn't doubt that this is true. Certainly it would explain the motivation for Bin Ladin's behavior. We can only truly understand someone by having knowledge of their past lives which is seldom possible. Everything that Jesus Christ did and everything that He experienced is not in the bible. The bible itself indicates this. Jeff Marzano Recommended further reading: Lives of the Master: The Rest of the Jesus Story Ufo...Contact from Planet Iarga Initiation
