real-life inspiration

CHOICES tells a down-to-earth inspirational story and provides an eye opening education, as well. As a mother of two small children, I found myself thinking it would be as difficult to see my children endure chemotherapy or radiation cancer treatment as it would the disease. The parents in this story made the difficult and risky decision to stop commonly prescribed treatments, then chose an alternative therapy. It was new and virtually unaccepted in this country, but it made sense. The therapy, called IAT, was easy, non-toxic, and treated the root of the disease; the weak immune system. Anyone who has cancer or who knows someone with cancer should read this book and learn that there are other treatments available for this disease. The faith and courage of this family made this book more than a cancer treatment text. It made me think about something that could happen to anyone in our family.

This book is a must read for anyone who has ever been faced with cancer or has been faced iwth aloved one or good friend having a potentially fatal disease. This book is filled with human emotion and realistic actions that any family would consider. The author gives us a heart-warming and heart-rending account of her daughter's illness. I was moved to tears several times at the frustrating brick walls encountered by this family initially and the ignorance with which the medical community sometimes acted. Read the story and become aware of choices available to all of us!

choices: a journey of faith torrey's miracle

I found this to be a very moving story of the Morse family and their young daughter Torrey as they journeyed through a terrifying experience with cancer. After rejecting the traditional treatment with chemicals because of Torrey's extreme physical reaction to the drugs, the family embarked on a journey to Dr. James Burton's cancer clinic in Freeport, Bahamas. This treatment is an immune system augmentation. The Morses were led by the Lord in this decision. The book tells of their day by day treatment, their faith and their life style while they were in the Bahamas, including excerpts from Margaret's daily journal. If you have cancer in your family or among your friends, please share with them this book. It lists cancer treatment alternatives including names, addresses and phone numbers. Don't just go along with the flow. Make informed choices. The choices made by this family improved their quality of life.

Choices-Torrey's Miracle

Choices, A Journey of Faith, Torrey's Miracle, is very inspiring! I loved it! It's a very quick read and contains very valuable information for those in the battle against cancer. My husband is a patient of the Immuno Augmentative Therapy Clinic in the Bahamas and is 3 1/2 years beyond the date his oncologists gave him to live. Mrs. Morse's book will help people by encouraging them in their fight or the fight of their loved one in this horrible disease of cancer. I recommend "Choices, A Journey of Faith, Torrey's Miracle" very highly.

Marvelous story of faith, courage and love

This is a marvelous story of a family's faith and love and their decisions as to how they would fight the devastating illness of their child. This heart-warming story is written by the mother and will touch you deeply as you read her words that exemplify true parental love and faith in God. This book opens our eyes to the fact that we DO have the right to make choices regarding the way we face and fight health problems. It is an inspiring book, written with compassion and the sincere desire to help others who might face a similar challenge in their lives. If you are considering alternative cancer treatment or if you are just pursuing all avenues open to you...this is a must read book!
