For a book with 'artistry' in the name I wanted more than how to make chocolate dipped strawberries. I expected, well, art.
Mostly black and white photos and mostly cookies and lollipops. If you want something a little more diversified, get her other book. This is a very general and very easy beginners book that mostly gives ideas for decorating cookies and lollipops for holiday type display. Think Christmas and Birthdays, Halloween and such. Nothing you can't find online. I found it disappointing as I don't need that many ideas for items like this. I was hoping for a more informative chocolate experience for desserts that go beyond these. I would expect a basic cake decorating book to cover the flowers and decor, rather than a chocolate book, as these are just frostings and not chocolate. So if you want cookie ideas, go for it (in black and white). If you want to make frosting flowers and leaves, get a cake decorating book.
