Book in excellent condition and great service as always.

The book came in almost pristine condition and arrived in a timely manner. for those who might find this information useful, it is secular and does follow current mainstream standards on gender and ethnicity etc I really wished it focused more on physical development than it does. It is very heavy on the psychological development. Balance between the two would be good.

BOYCOT OVER PRICED BOOKS

I was half expecting a piece of paper that said the book title on it because it was such an amazing price. But the book arrived on time, and looks brand NEW! i was so thrilled because the exact same book, in worse condition is for sale at my school for $109. hmmmmm $0.99 vs. $109 thanks for the awesome book and great buy for a poor college student!

Very pleased

The process was very quick and easy. My book arrived quicker than I expected and was in excellent condition.

Good book

I got this book, the 10th edition because the 11th is brand new and very expensive. This one is just about the same and works just fine for the class I have that requires this book.

Excellent....But...Whew....

...What a price!!! Santrock hits every single possible concept you need in early child development from Freud's Psychoanalytical stuff to Erikson's psycho-social to Vygotsky's socio-cultral to Bandura to the Ethiological to the Ecological...it's all here. Biology, physical, social, emotional, and intellectual basics are discussed in massive detail with lots of wonderful diagrams and pictures thrown in... ...but way to expensive for the typical financially-strapped undergrad. That's the only drawback. Even though I still give it five stars for its superb comprehensiveness. Alas, another book (Bee & Boyd's DEVELOPING CHILD) does an almost equally good job for over 13 dollars less.

I am using this book and need to understand it better

I find this book to be a bit structured and I need to understand the content clearer. I tried to purchase a study guide but there was none avalable
