Eddie : A fitting tribute

Even if the wrestling world wasnt robbed of one of itsfinestest and Eddie was still with us. This book would be a must read , if not for any other reason than to read about how one man managed to get his life back in order and face and conquor his demons in the process . This book does and will for many years sit proudly atop my collection of wrestling related items . Even if you think you've learnt all there was to learn about Guerrero through his DVD ,this book will and does offer over many more( some very personal)aspects of the man . A must read for anyone ,wrestling fan or not

A Must-Have Item for Eddie's Fans

A great book for Eddie Guerrero's fans. The book itself portrays his life and how he dealt with his problems. It also includes rare pictures that fans would love it. A great tribute for the late Eddie Guerrero.

A Champion In Life, As Well As In the Ring

The late, great Eddie Guerrero pulls no punches in this story of his life. In fact, there are times that I wondered how Eddie could be so honest about the things he went through, it takes true courage and conviction to reveal so many details - but for all of us who watched Eddie over the years, this isn't a surprise. Eddie remains a very strong inspiration personally - and I'm sure his millions of fans would agree. I read this book quickly, it's a very engaging read and it helped me immensely with my grief over us losing Eddie. Imagine that, even in death Eddie still being a strong source of encouragement. A wonderful example of strong faith in God being enough to overcome any demons that are encountered in life. Eddie - your fans will always love you and remember you, thank you for being such a wonderful example for us of always having a chance, no matter what our circumstances, to make our lives better. VIVA LA RAZA!!!

"They say that the true measure of a man is determined not by how many times he falls down, but by how many times he picks himself back up." This describes Eddie's life so well. Eddie's life was filled with many difficult struggles from his battles with drug addiction to alcohol abuse. He had overcome advirsity while making his way through WCW, ECW, and finally, his dream of the WWE. He loved the business with all his heart, but overcame his demons through the help of his family, friends, and his new faith in God. In the book he decribed his many roads of challenges and finally his triumph of becoming the WWE champion, which was his lifelong dream. Eddie had dreamed of becoming a WWE champion since he was young, wrestling with his nephew Chavo during intermission at his fathers wrestling matches. It was an outstanding story of the life a of man whose life was cut short much too soon. He will be missed by not only his family and friends, but by the multitude of fans who admired him as a wrestler and as a champion.

Eddie, we hardly knew you....

Eddie Guerrero is another great wrestler that was gone too soon. I really appreciate the honesty and cold hard facts that Eddie provided in his life story. It wasn't done in a way where he blames everyone else for his addictions and deamons, but rather he looks into himself. I picked up the book after his untimely death and reading about his life and the revelations he has and Eddie's spirituality in the last few pages makes it hard to take in that Eddie had to die when he was so ready to live. Sometimes things happen for a reason, and maybe Eddie's life wasn't all stardust and wonderful memories, but you have to appreciate his willingness to realize that he can't do it alone. He shows that in this life we need family and friends to help us make it. The book shows that his memory will live on. Via Condios Eddie!
