What is real in your reality?

What's real in your reality? What is "real" anyway? Science proposes that most of what exists is a shared hallucination of perceptions based on the refraction of light and the color spectrum. Religion teaches us that only what each church believes is real, yet each church believes something different. Society accepts something as real if the general public agrees on it. Cognitive behavioral therapy contends that what we believe and think about is what we experience and thus becomes real to us. So, if what is "real" is so subjective, then it becomes easy to change what is "real" for each person. If someone doesn't like the reality one finds oneself living, then one becomes powerful enough to change it. This book describes how. Change Your Reality, Change Your Life (ISBN: 1-58270-120-2, $14.95, softcover, 157 pages, 6x9 inches) is a guidebook of how to create a better personal reality. It's about recognizing that reality is what one makes it and beginning to take responsibility for the choices one makes. It's about learning to live life more fully and consciously. This is a how-to book of mental wellness written for a general audience. It contains user friendly instructions for changing the reality in one's mind to better suit the person, and it demonstrates the accompanying benefits of such a change. Mental wellness is taught through experiencing something different and recognizing the mind's ability to create new thoughts. Practical, creative, and easy techniques and exercises gently guide the reader toward self-discovery. This book is short-term cognitive behavioral therapy that will give you the tools you need to improve the way you think, feel, and act in any environment. I especially recommend this book to anyone going through a transition period in life or anyone seeking to define oneself. This book asks you to take a look at your reality and decide if you like what you see. If you don't, I show you how to change it. Much of what happens in your life happens in your own mind. Learn to control that much, and you are mentally healthy. Happy reading. Love & Light, Robin McKnight

Concise and Simple Ways To Change Your Reality

This book explains in everyday English what it means to create your own reality and change what you don't like about your life with intention and thought, without the feeling of some of the kooky psychic books I've read in the past. I particularlly liked the charts and exercises at the end of each chapter, which gave me techniques to practice and integrate what I learned. Already my life is actually changing for the better and I feel like I'm an active particpant (and observer!) in how my life is unfolding. I'm looking forward to reading other books by this author.
