The book's index is very helpful, it tells you all the pages and what is on them. When Chamique was younger, she played basketball all the time. When she grew up, she became very famous in New York. People often compared her to men's superstar, Michael Jordan. She played college basketball at the University of Tennessee. She amazed people with her power plays in scoring, rebounding and assists. She finished her four years with a record of 3,025 points. Finally, entering professional basketball in 1999, with the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) team, the Washington Mystics. The author of this book really used wonderful words in describing Chamique's talent. The majority of the book (pages 14 to 59) demonstrates the author's writing skills. The author is a television reporter on NBC and does a great job telling the story.
