Absolutely fantastic

Frank McMillan has done a fabulous job conveying the Holocaust and its importance in our lives today in this novel. His vivid descriptions of the ghetto, the uprising, the trains, the selections, and the camp are tremendously vivid yet not too graphic. He doesn't forget that there were those who helped, sometimes in small ways, so others could live. Mrs. Ringlebaum is a prime example of these people. The book is fun, it is fast, and it is educational. What more can be said?

WOW! Don't let this gem remain missing from your bookshelf.

This well-written, exciting story is a must read. In our crazy world where despots can claim that the Holocaust never happened, this book is a powerful reminder of the lives lost and the lives changed forever. The author expertly weaves the historical facts into his fictional characters to bring the horror of the Holocaust to a new generation. The fast-paced action will keep the reader engaged until the satisfying conclusion. An excellent purchase for readers of all ages.

Not to be missed!

I highly recommend Cezanne Is Missing by Frank McMillan. The book is fast paced story about Lauren, a teenaged girl, who becomes involved in a modern day mystery and adventure. During the action, Lauren learns about the Holocaust from two former Warsaw Ghetto Resistance fighters, one of them her favorite teacher, Mrs. Rosen. The story includes a hair raising encounter with the Russian Mafia, a diary written in code, Mrs. Rosen's touching life story and a wild chase through Manhattan. Not to be missed!
