Very great volume

I have read the entire manga series fo Ayashi no Ceres and love every volume. I read each volume in order and each volume is very exciting and always leaves you wondering what will happen next. This volume is one of the most emotional volumes in the series. Aya visits her boyfriend, Tooya, one day and they make love. Aya takes Tooya out and they run into a girl named Miori. Suddenly, Tooya's memories of Aya dissapear and are replaced with memories of Miori. Miori claims to have been Tooya's fiancee from a year ago when he lost his memory. The past year, Aya and Tooya became boyfriend and girlfriend and shared a passionate relationship. Miori tells Aya to forget Tooya when Tooya's memories of Aya fade. Aya is heartbroken as she watches Miori walk off with Tooya. She visits Tooya- but he can't remember her. Even when Tooya's memories of his passionate relationship with Aya are erased, he still feels a connection to her, upsetting Miori. Miori asks Aya to forget Tooya. Aya tries to forget Tooya, but can't forget him, remembering all the passionate kisses they've shared, all their times together and the nights they made love. Aya cuts her hair and Tooya sees her and hugs her. He tells her he knows that something went on between them, but he can't remember. Aya tells Tooya to be happy and tries to forget him. As the days pass, Aya tries to forget him, but still loves Tooya. She asks Yuuhi to try and help her move on. Meanwhile, it's revealed that Miori is not Tooya's fiance and that Tooya had false memories implanted in him and his real memories of Aya erased. When Tooya notices Miori acting differently, he backs off. He is approached again by the Mikage and asked to destroy Ceres. Tooya begins to find out the truth. Many events happen in this emotional volume.

Great manga!

This is a really good book, and you should read it. It looks into Toya's and Aya's relationship and Yuhi's affection for Aya. A girl who looks just like Aya shows up, apparently Toya's girlfriend from before, and Toya gets hit by a car while in shock from seeing Miori again. He regains his memory from before... but he loses all memories of his year with Aya. There's also a teeny bit of comedy from Yuhi's 'emotional breakdowns' concerning his jealousy, enough so you don't end up screaming or crying at the end, or something. However, if you buy this volume, you MUST buy the next one. This one's last few pages are the most intense part in the whole book, with a bit of build-up, but not that much. It also gives you a huge cliffhanger, and I pretty much ran around in a panic trying to get the next volume. Save yourself the pain :D.

Amazing, as usual

Yu Watase never fails to deliver, and this book is no exception. Dramatic, enticing, eloquent, heart-wrenching, beautifully tragic. What more can I say? Yu Watase does push some emotional buttons here, taking her well-developed characters to the max and putting them in situations that show their true colors(especially Yuhi...read the book, and you'll see what I mean). If you've seen the anime and think you don't need to read the manga, you're completely wrong...So much was left out of the tv series...The characters really are taken to a whole new level(especially Shuro,in my opinion(but that's another book, not this one...). Please check this out. I can guaruntee you will NOT be dissappointed, maybe a little depressed...Just prepare yourself for angst and turmoil^^;!
