Contains 25 step-by-step projects - ranging in size from a herb sachet to a bedspread - in the style of ancient Celtic artists. Their spiralling motifs and entwined knot designs have a natural affinity with the delicate curves and intricacy of quilting. The techniques used range from traditional English quilting through Italian stuffed trapunto and Japanese sashiko to applique, patchwork and shadow quilting.
Working on an original trapunto element for a quilt. These designs and methods very helpful.
