This book is written in Marietta Davis's own words of the amazing event that changed her life forever! This book is in the English, that they used 150 years ago, so some of it may be difficut to understand sometimes, but this book is worth reading! Because it is Marietta's story! She wrote down what she saw! I highly recommend this book, and I also highly recommend NINE DAYS IN HEAVEN by Dennis Prince, who with the help of his wife Nolene, has rewritten Marietta's story in a easier language to read for our time that we live in now, without changing Marietta's story! Dennis and Nolene did a outstanding job! This book CAUGHT UP INTO HEAVEN was very special to Dennis and Nolene, because of a sad event that happen in their life! So I highly recommend getting both books, because they are both awesome! In the summer of 1848 Marietta Davis went into a deep sleep or coma, for nine days! Before she got sick she was very concerned about life after death, and Marietta had big doubts about God. When she went to church, it did not move her, and she was not sure God even existed! While in a coma, Marietta was shown HEAVEN and HELL! She went into detailed accounts of what happens to BABIES in heaven! I believe that there are different levels or sections in heaven and hell, and I believe Marietta was shown some of them. I believe Marietta really saw Heaven and Hell, she went into such detail, and Heaven sounds like a very wonderful and beautiful place, while Hell sounds like it is full of sorrow and a place of no hope whatsoever! After Marietta came out of the deep sleep or coma, she tolded everyone what she saw, and that she was now a firm believer of GOD! Another remarkable thing Marietta talked about was her death! She was able to predict when, and how, she was going to die! And seven months later Marietta died exactly when she said that she would! I believe Marietta's story, because she has no reason to lie or to deceive people, especially when she knew that she was going to die seven months later!

i enjyed this book. It is written in old english, from 100 years ago, so it may be difficult for some to read.

Excellent book

Magnificient descriptions of some realities of Heaven. This revelation of Heaven given to the young Marietta also contains an impressing description of the work of Jesus on the cross and the spiritual realities involved. This reading is a real blessing and needs to be rediscovered.
