A collection of science fiction tales includes work by Robert A. Heinlein, David Drake, Anne McCaffrey, C. J. Cherryh, Ursula K. LeGuin, Fritz Leiber, and A. E. van Vogt. This description may be from another edition of this product.
It's a good collection of sci-fi stories involving cats (either terran or alien). Some of the stories end a bit too abruptly and others go on for too long. Some don't make any sense but hey they are still fun.
Excellent collection of feline themed stories

This collection of short stories deals, as you guessed, with cats. Half of the book contains stories about cats as we know them on Earth in various situations, all of which they overcome. The other half of the book contains stories about alien felines, in more varied situations, from a cat-human hybird that falls in love with a man, to a battle aboard a spaceship. All in all, it's a great book, and I can't recommend it highly enough for a cat lover. Others, however, may find the theme concentration a bit tiring.
For People Who Like Cats

Cats in Space is a fun little collection of science fiction stories involving cats. Fritz Leiber's Spacetime for Springers is about an ordinary home as seen by the family cat. It is the only story told by a cat. The other stories in the first section are about how people in space are affected by their cats by authors like Heinlein and Clarke. The second section of the book is a little strange as it has stories about catlike aliens such as the k'zin. These are very good stories, but they are not really cat stories. Overall, this is an enjoyable anthology of excellent stories for anyone who likes cats.
