Being new to the Catholic Faith I Love this book, reading it a second time..

A great starting place

This source book contains brief entries on thousands of topics on Catholic history, traditions, etc. You won't find detailed information - but that's not the purpose of the book. It's meant to provide quick facts. I use this as a starting place - this gives me enough information to carry on with a more extensive search elsewhere, if I want to know more.

Excellent Reference on 2000 years of Catholocism.

I received this a few days back and have not been able to put it down. It has answers to questions you didn't even know you had. A clear, concise "almanac" of everything about the Life of Christ, the Bible, and the Catholic Church- the church that Christ founded.This NEEDS to be on your shelf right next your Bible, Catechism, and Crusifix.May God bless all who read this with a full appreciation of the Catholic Faith.

A wonderful resource

This is an excellent book! Contains a vast amount of information about the Catholic Church- including both historical and dogmatic information. The new features in this edition are great- side tidbits very informative. Highly reccomended.

Basic Catholic Information and More

What a fabulous resource! So much in a single book of 500 pages. The anecdotes throughout provide a human touch to the information. The index provides fast access to the book's contents. Wonderfully laid out and really easy to use. I'm ordering one for all the teachers in the religion department.

Superior Reference Guide for All Catholics

This newest edition is simply beautiful. It is full of information that can satisfy anyone's questions, beautiful illustrations, etc. An absolute must for all Catholic libraries and homes.
