Not Jaki's meatiest but a very good intro

I have read several of Fr. Jaki's books and while this collection of essays lacks the academic rigor of many of his works, this is actually a plus for someone not inclined to heavy scholarship. Fr. Jaki has, in the past two decades, released a handful of essay collections. One of the best is his *Chance or Reality*; another is his *The Absolute Beneath the Relative*. Yet, these books may be too disparate and esoteric for some, which is what makes *Catholic Essays* such a nice middle porridge. This book contains three essays which are excellent summaries of Fr. Jaki's impressive body of work. If you can get your hands on a copy, this is a great introduction to the "Jakian" perspective.
