Nice Artist

I loved this book. Although it only talked about a little more than a week, there seemed to have a lot to think of. This book is about a girl called Lily and her father O.J. Her father was invited to make some sea paintings for Ms. Phipps. Unfortunately, after he had done some real paintings, Ms. Phipps didn't like them, but liked a so-called dunb-and-ugly painting. Ms. Phipps was very angry and said that he can only paint until Thursday, which was a week from that day. Another thing is happening, that O.J. was invited to be in an art show with his paintings. Lily and O.J. was discussing a way to solve the problems, and Lily had an idea. She thought that she can stay at the beach, where they lived to make paintings, and fool Ms. Phipps while O.J. was in the show. They did it. There are also several small stories when O.J. was gone. Those stories seemed to tell you about life, especially the story of the Blakes. Also, the author illustrated people very well. She had caught the personalities of different people with different careers. That's another good thing about the book. So, people should really read it. I couldn't put it down until I finished reading it.
