Twenty-three-year-old Jessica Firbank was minding her own business, working at the Sarachen's Head Pub in Brighton, when in walks her cousin Kitty with news that she'd had a brief affair with a Greek named Andros Kalimantis, who'd flown the coop, leaving her high, dry and pregnant.Jessica agrees to use her days off to go with her to Greece and track down the errant ner-do-well. But when they finally get there, Kitty can't face him. So Jess leaves her in a nearby bar and goes to face Andros alone. Immediately she sees he doesn't resemble the man Kitty has described and when she tells him why she's there, Andros at first suspects blackmail. Then he finds out that his cousin George has been impersonating him.He vows to get to the bottom of things and does and eventually he asks Jess to work for him in his tower in a remote Greek village, to essentially live with him, while he's working on his book. She is worried, but he says he would never make advances on an unwilling woman, but how long can Jess remain unwilling against his devastating charm.I really like the way Ms. Scott writes. She draws you in the story by writing about characters we care about. I was only eight years old when CATCH A DREAM came out, back in 1988, but just because it was written back then, don't be fooled, because it still stands up very well today.
