Great read aloud!

I read this book every day for months to my kindergarten kids because they loved it so much! Highly suggest reading it to a marching rhythm and beat and changing the ending of each page to "rawr rawr rat a tat tat" so the kids can join you on every page. Not to mention there is a hidden mouse on each page for kids to look for when they're "reading" it on their own.

Wonderful Toddler Book

My two-year-old LOVES this book. She DEMANDS "tat-tat" every night before bed. Even though we've read it a thousand times, she still squeals with delight every time.

Nothing makes my son happier than this book!

I can't believe this book isn't one of the most sought after childrens' books. My 11 month old son loves this book. All we need to do is say "Rat-a-Tat-Tat" and he goes crazy. And, no matter how many toys he has around him, he will go right for this book if it's visible. The smiles I get from him when I read this book are priceless. I've looked for similar books but have been very disappointed! Why don't they make more books like this with engaging rhthyms and rhyming text...
