A Match Made in Song

Often times the Reverend Andrew Rowland is at his wit's end. No, not trouble with his parishioners, trouble with his three grown up and meddlesome daughters. Didn't they understand that though his wife had been gone these many years, he didn't want another relationship. Being a widower suited him. Besides, he could never get over the only woman he's ever loved.Cassandra knows how her father feels and she's vowed, along with her sisters, to cease and desist with the blind dinner dates, then at a concert given by the famous tenor Antonio Pagliarulo at San Diego State college, where she teaches, she meets this warm and gentle woman who she knows would be perfect for dear old dad. And wouldn't you know it, the lady is none other than the tenor's mother and before long Cassandra and Antonio are making music together, no not that kind of music, but the real thing, she on the piano as he sings for a crusade. Antonio knows she is falling in love, maybe he is too, but he has secrets, reservations, fears and you know how that goes. And it goes very well in this finely written inspiration romance that I dearly loved. Cassandra was a divine character as were her sisters and father, Antonio too, and Juliana, his mother. I even loved Ruggs the dog. If you like inspirational romance, as I do, then this is defiantly one you want to read.

A really well written book, full of romance, and a mystery!

I recently just finished this book, and I couldn't put it down. It was a very well written and wonderful story. Carole Gift Page has a wonderful way of telling a story. You really get to know the characters. A young music teacher, Cassandra, falls for an Italian tenor named Antonia It's a very moving story, also there is a mystery inerwoven in the story, that keeps you guessing till the end. It was one of the few books I just couldn't put down. I wanted to get to the end to see what the mystery was about. If I could I would give it more than five stars, it certainly deserved it! I look forward to reading future books by Carole Gift Page, with these characters. There is a character in the story named Andrew, Cassandra's father. He really represents such a loving father. Anyone who likes a good clean romance novel, this is for you.
