solid procedural

Thomson writes very solid police procedurals usually in a rural setting and with roots in the past. In this case our inspector is being stalked by a mysterious stranger even as new information comes to light repoening the case of girl found murdered in the North Sea salt marshes. Chilling , tense and satisfying.
