After taking ill in winter, young Rosie remains confined to bed even when spring comes. Her friends thoughtfully paint pictures of the carousel figures she adores, and her brother buys her a musical merry-go-round toy. That night, Rosie dreams her carousel toy transports her through the night and into the wondrous realms represented by each of the carousel's beloved figures. In the morning Rosie awakens, her fever finally broken.
The story was very interesting and the pictures were pretty.

I am 4 years old. This was a very interesting book. The carousel was beautiful. I liked all the pictures in the book. The girl in the book, Rosie, was pretty, and I felt sorry for her when she got sick, I liked the way it ended and I made my mom read it to me over and over.
