The brigade command of Arthur Manigault included the 34th Alabama Infantry Regiment. My great (3) uncle Eason Blue Wood was Captain of Company B in the 34th Alabama, and I wanted to learn more about things he saw and experienced. This book did not disappoint. A number of eye-witness maps drawn by General Manigault were also included, along with a narrative by the author to link events together as they unfold in the General's account of the conflict. Very informative and well done.
