Great story!

Carlotta's Secret is one of the best things to happen to contemporary children's mystery fiction. She is the kind of heroine that children and adults can admire. Carlotta's Secret was an entertaining read for me and my six-year old son. The pacing was good, the storyline hit right at the heart of a child's imagination and the Webster Street Gang will easily become the 21st century's version of The Little Rascals and Our Gang. Only this time, the gang has a lot more depth and have a lot more fun. I truly marvel at Patricia Canterbury's ability to reach into the soul and imagination of children and bring us a story that we can all appreciate. My son insists on reading Carlotta's Secret every other night before going to bed, also he guessed Carlotta's Secret before I did! Hurry up Patricia, we can't wait for the next book in the series.

After reading Carlotta's Secret, I was definitely hungry for more. I can see where her secret will definitely make for more exciting adventures! Pat has a way of making her characters come to life. I'm sure that that Carlotta and the Webster Street gang will become a favorite for kids everywhere. I will enjoy reading it to my son when he's older. Here's to the next adventure!
