It's probably a good thing I've never really been asked to describe this book: it's hard to pin point. The plot line unfolds lanquidly-- not at all unlike a dream. It is lucid, beautiful, and atmospheric. Perhaps my favorite passage was the one which described Bird's encounter with the fellow she met at the fast food restaraunt-- the man who hooked her up with speakers in and out of her body, to record her songs- to form a bodily melody. A fast paced gem of a read. Check it out.
Excelent and worthy read for lovers of his fiction.

his book, written in an eclectic and engaging style is surprisingly easy to follow. It is full of intrigue and action, in the tradition of Nana and Odiers other fictional works written in the 70's and early 80's under a sir name.
