fun at the cafe

this is a great, light-hearted book. has a very shojo/comic strips kind of feel, but the characters are all memorable and the comedy, although oftentimes slapstick, is a lot of fun. i really like the artwork, and although there isn't any yaoi, the characters are definitely slashable. one of the best things is that between each chapter there are these mini shorts featuring chibi versions of all the characters, and they're unbelievably cute. kawaii!!! if you like series like azumanga daioh you should check this series out.

funny + cute = CKD

CKD is a pretty amusing manga. There's lots of crazy stuff going on; and anyone with a well-rounded sense of humor will enjoy it. ^_^ All the characters in there are loveable, and if you think this a yaoi book, well, uh, it's not. It's just about a bunch of crazy dudes causing chaos almost everywhere they go. Some of their "adventures" in this book include a giant catfish, screaming scones, weird voodoo, a giant boulder, and of course, 5 awesome (and good-looking) guys (and more!). ;D (oh, and there's nothing perverted in there... just nice innocent fun!) There's also 5 "tiny cafe" stories throught the book, which are very adorable! ^__^ Anyone who likes comedy manga should add this to their manga collection. <3 This manga will definitely want you reading more.
