All FWD models of Cadillac Deville, Eldorado, Fleetwood, Seville, Sixty Special, SLS & STS. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I bought this manual for my husband because we were lucky enough to find a 1996 Fleetwood (the last year they were built). He already had an older Fleetwood, but there was enough different that we needed this manual. Not meant to be a comprehensive shop manual, this one is good for the occasional 'shadetree' mechanic. Lots of good, basic information and helpful hints, but don't expect to become an expert based on the content. Definately worth the price, though - in saved time and anguish!
Lots of pictures of exact Caddy cars

I liked the clear pictures and simple step by step instructions to maintain or do common repairs to my Caddy. Chilton is the best value for most repairs. The Factory manuals: $104.00 to $40. each (there are two, One for the motor and transmission, and one for the Body and everything else) The factory manuals are far more complete, giving very detailed information and description for every connector and screw. Depending on your need to know, the Chilton manual may be enough. It weighs about 18 oz., One GM manual weighs 108 oz. I finally bought both the Chilton for most tasks, and the GM manual when I really needed more information for very uncommon tasks.
