great book!

I truly enjoyed by chance or choice. The characters became my friends and I completely shared their experiences. I was completely engrossed in their growth (or lack of). The book started a little slow, however by chapter 2 it literally took off. I slowed myself down at the end because I didn't want to say good-bye. If you have good friends you will totally relate to the characters. Toni, I am eagerly awaiting your next book!

Strictly for those serious girlfriends

If you've ever had a true girlfriend, or need to know what to do to find a true friend, read this novel. It is an excellent portrayal of friendship and the hardship that often come along with it. The author's emphathetic tone was sincere. I have read many books but this one truly depicted "TRUE FRIENDSHIP". I recommend it for those who take friedship seriously.

Reading and understanding this book has helped me to re-evaluate every thoughtless move I have ever made or almost made. "By Chance or Choice" is all about making good decisions. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. It's up to you how life turns out. This book is a definite must read!

A Must Read!!!!!!!!!

Excellent Book,Toni Staton Harris captures the essence of todays black woman and her trials and tribulations through everyday life and love. There is a little bit of each and everyone of us in her colorful characters, I saw myself many times. Once you get started reading you can't put it down, each chapter begs you to go further and further. I finished this book in three days, and it leaves you wanting more. Toni please!!!! we need a part two.........SOON.

interesting reading

I felt that this book was like an enjoyable weekend date. It held my interest and kept me enchanched. I could not put it down. The characters were both interesting and intriging. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and coworkers.
