Review of Annie Clayton's Broken Wings

Broken Wings was one of the best books I've read in a long time. I enjoyed it immensely. Knowing the author she has revealed a few of these stories to me in the past. As she quoted to me years ago "you don't know the half of it", I couldn't believe the rest of the story. The courage she put into this book was amazing. Anyone having to go thru what she has, and then becoming the person she is now is an incentive in itself to anyone having gone thru what she did. I hope the book turns into a movie. So then everyone who has been thru this sort of ordeal will be encouraged to go on and make something out of their lives as Ebony did.Good work Annie, I love you as a friend and keep the faith.Denise Lewis

I See Me!

From the very first page of the this book, i was haunted! This book, the author, etc., seemed to be a body double type thing. The author was truly a strong individual who weathered a long, hard storm with only her higher poor to truly depend on. It took me all of 2 days to read the book, which is a triumph for me! The book was entertaining, heartfelt, and a little scary at times! It truly kept my attention focused on reading. If this is a first time author, she has my attention! She knows how to keep it real!
