This is a Police Women's Fiction, and this is the 16th book in the O'Connells series. I have not read the other books in this series before picking this book up, but I do feel this book can be read as a standalone without problems. The main character of this book is a woman, Reine, that just got released from prison. I think this book does a great job showing how hard it is to get on your feet over leaving prison. There is a little mystery going on, but this book is more about a woman getting back her life and moving on. I really loved this book, and I loved the characters so much. This book will make you think about things which I really love when a book does that. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
