Very good reading!

My husband grew up in New Castle County, De walking distance from the Brandywine and with view of one of the DuPont mansions across the road and up the hill from his boyhood home. So when I found this book I was excited and as I was reading it I would ask him questions about the area that stirred his memory and brought him newfound interest in his past. I could have kept reading if you had only added more!! I have one complaint. It would have been nice to have a general drawing of the area during that period of time, in the form of a map. Keep writing and please give us more history of the Brandywine Creek area.

EXTREMELY MOVING

My grandpa is Jack Rowe. I haven't read this book but I Know that if he wrote it, it's a great book. And I hope people continue to buy it in the years to come.
