A MOST EXCELLENT RESOURCE; A TRUE WEALTH OF INFORMATION

Bombers of World War Two; Editied by David Donald, is a "Must Have" if you are interested in learning the historys; Color Schemes; Details of the Major Players of "All" Nations in World War Two. This book has it all; From line drawings; To cut-aways; Black and White Photo's Color Photos, Color plates, and a wealth of relevant information for both the professional historian. As well as the "Arm Chair Warrior". An Excellent source for the "Model Aircraft" builder. All Camoflage paint schemes are covered for all the major players in the conflict. Including "Winter Camoflage Schemes" and regional paint schemes. An Excellent resource book for the "Fairey Swordfish" Modeler. Truely this book "Is" a GEM to be poesessed and studied.

A good book for modeler !

I got "Bombers of World War II" and I am very pleased with the content of this book. I am not an Historian but I do built WW2 scale models and this book gave me some pretty shoot of bombers, with profiles, 3 plans color view (large profile), striped plane plan (good cutaway for the scrachbuilder) and a good amount of information (all the variants in a good little tabloid resume).Like always David Donald is using the maximum of colors that can be use in this WW2 subject where it difficult to find them (real photos color form WW2 and profiles). It is not a book of only USAF bombers but luckly of major bombers from all over the world (Swordfish, Mitsubishi "Betty", Savoia-Marchetti, SBD Dauntless, B-29 Superfortress, Tupolev TU-2, ....)A book for you and a pretty good book to offer!
