Excellent overview

Written in the United Kingdom, where IRA bombs have been a reality for decades, this book discusses not only the response for law enforcement officials, but also everyone including private security professionals, executives and others in business and industry who are charges with the protection of life and property in today's environment. Everyone knows if you find a bomb you call the police; but how do you respond to a bomb threat, which may be aimed to disrupt your business- without there actually being a real device? Whether the threat comes from a disgruntled employee or a student trying to avoid a test they haven't prepared for- it is the executives and administration that have to make the decisions of whether to evacuate, whether to search, and who is to do the searching.
