The POW/MIA issue is full of questions, this book adds more

My name is Benjamin, age 25, and I have been a POW/MIA researcher for 14 years now (the most extensive research has been within the last two years). I read any peice of literature I can get my hands on involving this issue (along with filling FOIA requests). I've long questioned the authenticity of the "Bo" Gritz missions, and this only adds to the confusion. I have finnished reading Mr Barnes story, and though I have not finnished reading the full context of his book (a great majority after his story is newspaper articles, sworn affidavidts, etc), as I am now on his testimony in front of the Veterans Commission. Mr Barnes does bring some colloborating information however to POW/MIA cases (which valid questions have still been unanswered) involving Ronald Dodge, Aldro Lundry, and talks briefly of Robert Garwood (Garwood is an intresting case. Much more information has been released and has been reported on Garwood than any other POW/MIA), whom Mr Barnes met, and confessed he did collaborate (also the testimony of Dr Guglas who tested Mr Barnes [not to discredit Mr Garwood, as I would probably do the same thing in his situation]). I guess what I have to say about this book is that if Mr Barnes is telling the truth, it only further confirms my belief that LIVE AMERICAN POW'S were abandoned in SE Asia after the Vietnam War. If Mr Barnes is fabricating any of this, he has certainly gone to great lengths to aquire names, dates, details, phone numbers, etc to confirm it. I would have to ask, why whould someone go through all those actions (and testify under oath with the possibility of persecution under perjury) if he was making it up. Why would a man go to such lengths to support a lie? I don't know. Mr. Scott Barnes, I would like to talk to you personally, in regards of the BOHICA mission, if possible. I'm writting this review not only to inform potential readers of your book, but also in the hopes I can conversate with you. If you wish to contact me, my email address is steadyrollinwalkman@yahoo.com. If you respond to my email, I can give you my cell phone number if you wish to contact me. Thank you, and God Bless.

A true American Patriot...

You want intrigue? The first 90 pages moves slowly, as there is so much background that needs to be explained. But once the story takes off, you can't put the book down as it takes you into the depths of CIA intrigue and the world of black ops. Scott Barnes is clearly the true definition of a patriotic American. If you want to read a true story that is suspenseful and frightening, then you don't want to miss reading BOHICA!

Very Interesting Book...

This book is very interesting and very disturbing as well as it details a mission to find POW's in Vietnam. Scott Barnes details his adventures in an exciting and suspenseful way. Highly Recommended for all interested in the POW/MIA issue.
