God Works in Miraculous Ways and so does Bod 4 God!!!

I was introduced to Pastor Reynolds and Bod4God in September 2009, and this program has been a tremendous blessing. Up until that point I had been contemplating Lap Band surgery, as I have been overweight my entire adult life. God put Mike Vencion (featured in the book, he lost 130 pounds in a year) in my path, who encouraged me to join him at the Losing to Live seminar and trust God to help me get the weight off. Mike is a great motivator and now a wonderful friend. The simple principles in this book will help you realize that truly with God nothing is impossible. When we have trouble and heartache we turn to God, certainly He should be the center of our life and Pastor Reynolds shows just how to do that. God truly cares about our lives and about our health. Those of us that are overweight need to turn this problem over to God, and this book will help you. To date I have lost 57 pounds and with God's help I am continuing to lose more. Buy this book and help yourself or help a friend.

AWESOME book!

This book made a huge difference in my eating and lifestyle. I have been on every diet that you can imagine. When I first got the book I was definitely skeptical. The thing that I actually liked was that it wasnt a "plan" necesarily. I think that diets with plans are considered temporary, or something that you will do until you lose the weight and then go back to how you ate before(which most of us gain all the weight back that we lost). This book talks a lot about how important it is to eat healthy as a lifestyle, not as a temporary thing. The writer suggests a lot of small simple changes that you can make in your life to help you become healthy without being overwhelming. It was also very interesting to learn what the Bible has to say about weight loss. I definitely recomend getting the book!

It Works!

A group of 10 at our church followed Steve's program for 8 weeks and lost a total of 168 lb. We just wanted to get healthy, feel healthy and enjoy life a little more. We all tried various methods, but we found through this book that it was God's plan from the beginning for us to be healthy and enjoy life--not escape from it--by not eating or eliminating essentials. That is an escape. It's basic, it's God. Steve just puts God's writings into the plan that helps you remember that you are here to be healthy, to show others how God wants you to live, and most important to honor and worship God by your appreciation of what He has given you. Eat wisely, move more and enjoy life....

Awesome work

I for one am one of the guys featured in the book as "the biggest loser" from the first weight loss competition we ever had,and serioulsy, this is really worth reading even if there are so many books out there all about losing some of the unwanted pounds, however this one has a huge difference among the rest. It is not only based on Steve's own story, but it goes into more than just losing weight. This honestly teaches about changing our foundation on taking well care of the body we all have been given by the lord based very much on biblical principles. This is certainly worth reading, and is very life changing.
