At age sixteen Bobby is excited to go to New York City on his own. He is amazed when a foreign woman offers him a handful of ancient gold coins. The girl is beautiful, but she and the coins seem to get Bobby and his family into trouble. He gets beaten up three times. His eccentric family hatches a plan to find out: Who is attacking him? Why? They need to find someone from her family, but the person who killed her mother might be a relative. Eventually they find some relatives of hers, but who can they trust?
