Robert "Bob" Clark Seger, born on May 6th, 1945, at the Henry Ford Hospital Detroit, Michigan, U.S, is a singer-songwriter, guitarist and pianist. He performed and recorded as Bob Seger and the Last Heard and Bob Seger System throughout the 1960s, success in the Detroit-area being followed by his break through first national hit and album during 1968. He'd dropped the 'System' from his recordings by the early 1970s, having continued to work towards wider success with other groups.
