Good depth of skills

This workbook was a great compilation of several different Blues Clues workbooks, going from a color exploration workbook with a lot of activities to numbers and letters and patterns. My three year old really liked the ones where he got to use the secret decoder wand to check his answers. Really a lot of activites on each page and very level appropriate for a pre-schooler.

"Blue's Clues: Preschool Skills" is one of the best "Blue's Clues" books when it comes to pure learning and fun. This book covers color recognition, sizes and shapes, letter sounds, word families, letter recognition and writing and much more. This book, designated as a Pre-K workbook, is actually like two or three books in one. You get "Colors and Shapes" and "Letters." The "Letters" section comes with a special decoder wand to reveal answers. It's all a lot of fun for something that teaches so much. There's some wonderful pictures to color (but don't worry, many of the pictures are already with color), mazes and other such games, spaces to practice writing and so many other great things. Plus, all of the learning is woven into actual stories. Strongly recommended for any "Blue's Clues" fan or any preschooler.
