This book was written from the author's ship's log and aircraft log. The story begins when a notorious thief is stealing lobsters from one of the two main character's, Raymond James, traps in North Key Largo. He's found in Angelfish Creek with a bullet in his heart, but the young boy with him is left unharmed. During this time, the other main character, Roland Cameron, is on the shoreline off West Palm Beach and catches a thief who is stealing his lobsters from the traps by using an aqualung while his partner operates the boat. The two thieves are never seen again. The two trappers team up, and with two big offshore lobster boats they load their traps and head into the Caribbean where the first half of the book takes place. They keep moving their lobster traps hoping to leave the pirates who steal their catch behind. Years later they are trapping on the Little Bahama Bank near Walker's Cay. Once again theives show up and the shooting begins again. In 1975 they are run out of the Bahamas by the goverment. The two trappers move to the west coast of Florida and begin trapping in Everglade's City. They soon learn that the small village is the drug smuggling capitol of the south. Both men are pilots and own two airplanes plus their lobster boats. With the bitterness of losing everything to thieves still fresh in their minds they are soon involved in the deadly world of smuggling. The book was written by me and is now titled DARK CARIBBEAN and is available at [...]
