Beautiful graphic novel

After watching the movie on Netflix, I knew I had to read this. Without getting into spoilers, this book is an absolute beauty. The story diverges quite a bit from the movie and the illustrations are beautiful. Warming and captivating, this coming-of-age story about love and heartbreak holds true for many people. One thing that I found interesting with this novel vs the movie was how the roles have changed. Emma is seem as more innocent and caring instead of the bad-ass that she is in the movie. Clementine's desire and passion seems to rip her more apart from friends and family in the novel than in the movie. 4/5. It was a good story, beautiful illustrations. Yet, I felt as if it was missing a final "umpf" to perfect it. A good short read if you have the time.
