The 150 page handbook contains everything from transfusion guidelines to how to treat transfusion reactions to a brief overview of hemostatic disorders. It is not comprehensive, but rather intended for busy housestaff and medical students as a quick reference. The 6th edition came out in 1999. Don't settle for anything less than the most current.
