Qick-read mystery set in K.C.

This short mystery novel will be most interesting to people who are familiar with Kansas City. There are scenes on the Plaza, Ward Parkway and Milton's famous juke joint on Main Street. At 200 pages it was an easy read for part of a trans-Atlantic flight. The plot involves horse racing, some bluffs, and a murder or two.
