Blackberry Pearl

It has been extremely helpful. Through this book, I've become very adept at using my Blackberry Pearl, so much so that my daughter, wife, sons, and parents make fun of my Blackberry habit. :-)

Very Helpful for Tech Idiots who want a Blackberry!

This book is so valuable for Dummies like me, who are simply not as "Smart Phone Intuitive" as some other people! I read parts chapter by chapter, and I read other snippets just for the little info that I needed right at the moment. Easy to find the part that you need that addresses your immediate question. There are still many many features of the Pearl that I just havent checked out, figured out, or even discovered, but this is a cool book to pick up on occassion and find out just one NEW THING ABOUT MY PEARL! If you get confused with the Pearl, you need this book.

Finally!

This book helped me understand every detail on my phone. I'm sorry, but those crappy phamplet books the phone comes with...no help! I would definetly recommend this book for anyone else!

Great buy

This is a great book. It really explains any possible question you can have about using your blackberry pearl. It's also very easy to understand. If you want to get the most out of your blackberry pearl I really recommend you get this book.

Answered the Questions I had.

I bought this book, not because I have a BlackBerry Pearl but because I was thinking of getting one and wanted to see just what they realy can do. I first went and talked to the people at the store - useless. Then I went to the web, and did a lot better, but I still wanted more detail. Sometimes those people speak in jargon, they use words to describe things that just don't mean the same things I understand them to mean. I thought that buying this inexpensive book would answer my questions better than trying to get information out of the barely trained sales person at the store. It worked perfectly. Instead of just saying that the thing will do something, it says that if you want to do something, here's how. In essence this book answered every question I had, and then some. For instance I would never have thought to ask about accessories or software. Of course it's written in the usual irreverent 'For Dummies' style that I happen to like. It makes reading about dull computer stuff less boring.
