Blackbeard's Colorful Life

This book provides an excellent look into Captain Teach's life and adventures. It's got dialogue so it's very engaging and an easy read. It also has a section toward the end that discusses some of the urban legends surrounding Blackbeard and the discovery of the Queen Anne's Revenge wreckage. Take note: I'm not sure if it's just the edition that I bought or how the book is published, but it was written in 1997 and the typeface is very unusual for a book. It reminds me of typewriter font. Not hard to read - just different from what you'd expect a book to be published in.

I helped recover much of the artifacts from Blackbeards ship, Queen Ann's Revenge. This Book Makes you understand the pirate more than any other book I have found,and I have read them ALL!

This is the most "readable" book on Blackbeard I've read.

Full of facts and legends, this book is very enjoyable to read. Ms Day makes you feel as if you're on-board with the fierce pirate! This is also a very good book for children. My 12 year old has read it twice!
