synopsis

Untamed spirits. . .When the half-Cheyenne Beau Falkner discovered the young "outlaw" who'd made a fool of him was a girl, he decided to teach her some manners. Until the fiery Danny turned out to be a lot older than he'd thought ... and a lot more dangerous. He vowed he'd get her land -- and make the willful beauty his own. Danielle Jamison wasn't about to let the reward on her head or her passion for the notorious Beau Falkner cost her the Silver J ranch. But the handsome rancher had his own plans for her, and he was slowly closing off every possible means of escape.

WHOOPS! FRONTIER SEDUCTION -

The hell-cat Danny Jamison, who was saved and raised by Jed Turner [now 52]has turned to a life of crime [almost] - she just isn't very good at it. In attempting to hold-up the stagecoach she tangles with an Englishman and makes him strip to aunatural and leaves him to walk to the next town. Boy does that tick him off. She does not know that he is the half-Cheyenne rancher, Beau Falkner and not some tenderfoot. When Beau catches up with Jed and his sidekick he decides to kidnap the kid and take her to his 40 year old widowed sister, Andrea for raising not knowing that Danny is older than he suspects. Well, first he decides to tame her. Yeah, right. [of course there is more to the story than that]. By the time he finally takes her to his ranch, he has decided that he is going to bed her come hell or high water. He appears to have no emotion where women are concerned. On arriving at the ranch Danny is introduced to one of Beau's old lovers, Lady Margaret who is determined to wed Beau. He appears willing to still attend her bed. There is some intrigue going on with trouble between the Falkner ranch and the Silver J ranch having good water rights but losing cattle to the Falkners - Beau wants that ranch, not knowing that Danny owns it. Are women that freaking weak? Danny wants love and home and family but Beau has no interest in marriage - women are good for only one thing - bedding. Yet Danny is seduced, deflowered and willing to come back for more. [twit] All in all the story is excellent - the villians are shady characters - the characters fill out the story with humour and a bit of intrigue. Love those horses - oh, I forgot about the horse race - quite neat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED --M Might be considered a keeper!
