Hard to read but I couldn't put it down

This book is about a family torn apart by madness and betrayal. It is very well written with compelling characters. The author switches points of view pretty often, so you really get to know all the members of this family. It is not a happy story. There is plenty of madness and cruelty all through the book. And there is not really a happy ending. But still, I have to call it an excellent book. I am afraid this one is going to haunt me for a while.

Don't break my heart

I was totally engrossed in this book and spent hours reading it in the middle of the night. The characters were so compelling I felt like I was suffering along with them, but at the end, I cried my heart out.Oh, what I would do for a better ending...
