Birnbaum's Walt Disney World 2008

We used this book on a previous trip a few years back and able to get lots of helpful information and ideas that made the trip a lot more enjoyable.

I Use Birnbaum's For Every WDW Trip

As some reviewers have said, this is not a guide for things to do in Orlando. There is some information, but the book is primarily about Disney World, and it doesn't claim to be anything else. This is also not a book for those who want nitty gritty details, the good and the bad, spelled out for them. But if what you want is a guide to getting the most enjoyment out of your trip to Disney World, a book that adds to your anticipation and excitement of the trip, then this is the best book out there. It will give you tips for all the "must see" attractions (because you really can't see everything in one trip) and let you familiarize yourself with attractions, maps, hotels and dining. And it evokes the feel of Disney World better than any other guide currently on the market.

Great trip planner!!

There are lots of Disney guides out there and it's overwhelming! I read many reviews before selecting this guide. I am SOOOO glad we had it! Although we planned our trip to WDW at the last minute and didn't have a chance to use any of the planning ahead tips, there were still MANY other tips that helped us! Especially the restaurant guides...we were on a tight budget with lots of kids and it helped us choose the best budget friendly choices. Like eating at the Mexican Cantina at Epcot about 30 minutes before the Illuminations show began was AWESOME! Front row seats for a very crowded attraction at an affordable price :) I spent a lot of time reading Disney Forum advice from WDW die hards, but having this guide in hand each day helped us navigate the parks and decide how best to spend our time!

Birnbaum's

This is the second edition of Birnbaum's Walt Disney World we have purchased. After reading it I am glad we purchased this edition, as there are many new attractions since our last visit. I would highly recommend this guide to anyone planning a visit to Mickey's place. We also ordered the Unofficial Guide to Disney World 2007. This book goes deeper into detail about how to save money, the best times to ride certain rides, and how to plan your stay there.

Don't Leave Home Without It!!

Birnbaum's is absolutely the best source of information on Disney World that can be found. We took our first trip in 2000 and had no idea where to begin. With Birnbaum's you can plan your budget, select the appropriate accomodations for your familyand plan your itenerary. We have returned every year since and I buy a new Birnbaum's before each trip because there are always new attractions and events from year to year. This is the only book that you will need for your trip!
