Nice pocket guide

This is a nice illustrative guide to have in your pocket when sitting outside watching the birdfeeders.

Great for Kids and Beginners

I would give this book a 5 star rating because it's so quick and easy to look up a new bird when you see one. I am a kindergarten teacher and I bought this guide to keep by the window in my classroom that is overlooking our bird feeder. The 5 and 6 year old children can identify a bird by its prominent color, then flip to the section in the guide of that same color and browse until they spot the bird in question. I liked the book so much that I bought another one to keep at home!

Excellent little Book

Excellent little field guide. Easy to find the bird you want. Perfect for spotting birds from a moving car!Birds Of Florida Field Guide

Birthday Gift

I gave this little book to my husband as a B'day gift. We walk every morning and neither one of us could identify the birds. He feels that the pictures are true to life and we have come to appreciate our winged friends.

One of the best field guides for the Florida bird watcher!

Mr. Stan Tekiela has established a reputation for his series of bird watching field guides. What's most unique about his approach is the fact he divides the guide by feather coloration rather than by species or groups of species. The sound recordings are of great quality and a must to have with the field guide. I highly recommend this book for those individuals who, like me, are just barely beginning to get their feet wet in this fantastic hobby of bird watching.
